Abhorrence We are a Finnish old school death metal band, originally active from 1989 to 1990. We reactivated in 2013 for few reunion gigs, following the release of Completely Vulgar compilation album released by Svart Records. In 2017 Svart Records released Totally Vulgar - Live at Tuska Open Air 2013 live album and we celebrated this with a minitour. Future is murky and uncertain. There are three bands of the same name. 1: Abhorrence, Finnish death metal band 1989- Originally formed in 1989, which disbanded after just one year in 1990. They released their famous Vulgar Necrolatry demo tape, that was in heavy circulation in the underground tape trading sce read more. Abhorrence was formed by Rangel Arroyo and Fernando Arroyo in 1997. After a few member changes, Marcello Marzari joined and completed the band's lineup. That same year, the band recorded the debut demo-tape Ascension, which was later re-released on CD in 1998 by Wild Rags Records. In 1999, Abhorrence recorded a second demo titled Triumph in Blasphemy. Abhorrence later signed a deal with Evil Vengeance to record their first full-length album, Evoking The Abomination, which was released in 2000 and re-released in 2001. After the album was released, the band went on hiatus until 2004, when they recorded two new tracks for an upcoming promo. Abhorrence is a Finnish death metal band originally formed in 1989. Abhorrence was formed in early 1989 by guitarists Tomi Koivusaari of Violent Solution and Kalle Mattsson, vocalist Jukka Kolehmainen and bassist Jussi Ahlroth latter three whom had played together in a band called Disaster, as well as drummer Kimmo Heikkinen. For some time they played under several different names until settling on Abhorrence, playing dozens of concerts alongside bands like Xysma, Disgrace and Funebre. Abhorrence, Helsinki, Finland. In a 2016 interview, vocalist Jukka Kolehmainen stated that the band's future is uncertain, though they have agreed to not play any more.
