Notes

That terrible old reprobate and transdimensional adventuress Iris Wildthyme has gone and locked herself up in a nunnery on the savage world of Artaris.

Here she is discovered by the Doctor and the reasonably brutal warlord Grayvorn. Together - with a peculiar nun they pick up en route - they must travel the forests and swamps of this ghastly world in Iris's double decker bus in order to tussle - to the death - with a horde of flesh-eating zombies for a mysterious and holy relic of unfathomable value and questionable pedigree.

But what is the Mother Superior's part in all this?

This is a list of music releases from and relating to the BBC television series Doctor Who. It is split into two sections: One for soundtracks of music from the show and its spinoffs, and one for music relating to the series, mainly novelty or tribute releases. There have been several LP and CD releases of music and sound effects over the years from the BBC television series Doctor Who by the BBC Radiophonic Workshop, freelance composers, and stock music. Excelis Dawns was the first audio story in the Excelis Saga. It featured the first audio appearance of Iris Wildthyme played by Katy Manning. She acted as the Fifth Doctor's companion. I love the framing narrative by Anthony Stewart Head's warlord Grayvorn Mortifiying for me, a warlord of the highest self-appointed order, having his horse drawn by some foreign sandy-haired devil in striped trousers, who wore some sort of vegetable pinned to his lapel. Iris Wildthyme is a bit of a one-joke character, but I did like her line about being transported to the Death Zone to do battle with Mechanoids, the Voord and the Zarbi before confronting Excelis Dawns is not a bad start. Everyday low prices on a huge range of new releases and classic fiction. This is the third and final story in the Excelis trilogy, which follows on from Excelis Dawns, and Excelis Rising, and completes the tale loosely linked through a relic and its ties to Excelis, on the planet of Artaris. The Seventh Doctor has landed in the Tardis in a world where he quickly finds that to stand out is not a good thing the world is ruled by the Inner and Outer Parties, and the proletariats are workers, drudges who toil for the good of Excelis or so they are told
