Porter Ricks'work here presents a new sound, radically different from PR's previous releases Biokinetiks and Porter Ricks. The first three PR tracks on this CD include a basic analog synth drone modulated in all possible ways and almost with no audible percussion, which creates a very eerie and dark amosphere. The vibe is different from their previous works, which were more like dreamy soundscapes. Maybe this new aggressive point of view is the result of this collaboration with TA.
