The text inside the skull on the cover reads, "not even the dreamer is wide awake". The rest is quoted from Prospero, the protagonist of William Shakespeare's play The Tempest: "And, like this insubstantial pageant faded, / Leave not a rack behind: we are such stuff / As dreams are made on, and our little life / Is rounded with a sleep." In context, Prospero is constructing a metaphor on ephemerality to halt the play-within-a-play; critics of Shakespeare believe it was his way of announcing his retirement from writing, and he would die 5 years after the play was written.

Nothing 2 Loose and Mudshadow Propaganda represent the latest missives from an anonymous artist who has gained almost mythic status among fans of underground dance music. Previously working most frequently under the monikers Prince of Denmark for techno-oriented works and Traumprinz for house-ier sounds, the artist revealed a cryptic website in early April and put up for sale the albums in question, released, respectively, under new aliases DJ Healer and Prime Minister of Doom. Prime Minister Of Doom is, naturally, a continuation of Prince Of Denmark, offering, as that project did, minimalist techno full of understated personality. That's not to say the sound hasn't evolved. If 8 was all murk and shadows, this one is breezy and crystal clear, even housey at times. In a way, though, it's in its dryer moments that Mudshadow Propaganda feels most accomplished. Nothing 2 Loose is a grand statement in which the artist lays himself bare. Mudshadow Propaganda is exactly the opposite: an exercise in design and utility, devoid of meaning but near-perfect in execution. Mudshadow Propaganda is an album by Prime Minister Of Doom released in 2018. Mudshadow Propaganda by Prime Minister Of Doom Year: 2018 Release date: 2018-04-01 Overall rank: 52,153rd. But the more I listen to Mudshadow Propaganda and its intrinsic counterpart, Nothing 2 Loose, Traumprinzs newest pair of releases under two fresh monikers, the more I realize how incomplete my reconciled portrait of his work actually was. Prince of Denmark is dead, and from its ashes are two beings reborn two perfect halves of a former whole, two separate representations of its prior purpose. Though this first release under Prime Minister of Doom is the clearer continuation of 8 stylistically, its skillful honing and stretching of his craft is enough to prove its own worth its perpetuated dance enough to keep us reeling until whatever may come next
